Noonu Atoll
50 villas, Boutique resort
Seaplane transfers
The first thing that catches your eye with Noku is the absolutely stunning beach on arrival. It’s probably the largest (widest) beach I have seen.
The public areas are very nice. There is a lovely reception area, library, boutique and the main restaurant and bar look out over the beautiful beach.
They have four categories of rooms, beach and water villas without pools and those with pools. All the villas are the same size. They are big with plenty of space. The only difference is the plunge pool which is a good size. The Sun deck on the water villas are big, unlike most other resorts. Some water pool villas are Sunset.
The villas are spacious with a huge bathroom with a bath and indoor and outdoor showers.
They provide free soft drinks in the mini-bar for all guests plus tea and coffee with a small container of biscuits and macaroons complimentary and replenished daily.
There is only one Al a carte restaurant which is Asian and the food is delicious.
Breakfast and dinner are buffets with a nice selection. The Chef is very accommodating so if you have dietary requirements speak to him.
Lunch was a set menu with some options to choose from.
Overall the food was very good.
They offer non-motorized and some motorized watersports plus the dive school.
A small Spa which is very pretty with plenty of lovely flowers. Spacious treatment rooms with a swimming pool in two of them.
There are no TVs in the rooms and no entertainment although this may change in the future.
For now, for those looking for a stunning beach, peace and quiet and a chance to unwind it is perfect.
You are provided with a mobile phone and a dedicated villa host. He will be contactable via mobile phone.
The staff are all friendly and welcoming.
