Lobigili is a man-made resort in North Male Atoll. 30 minutes by speedboat.
This boutique adult-only resort comprises of 3 room categories, Water Villa, Beach Villa with Pool and Water Villa with Pool.
The rooms are compact but well thought out. You don’t always need a large villa. The size is perfect for a couple. They have some nice little touches, such as large sliding shutters to let more light in and the bathroom is very spacious with Bathtub and large rain shower.
The concept is all-inclusive with a buffet breakfast and lunch. There’s a great choice, with live cooking stations.
For dinner, it is Al a carte with 4 different themes, Italian, Mediterranean, Indian and Thai menus. The Italian was delicious.
If you stay a minimum of 4 nights, you can dine in Blu, the largest underwater restaurant. This is a fantastic experience, and the food is exceptional.
Lobigili prides itself on having the largest team of female staff right across the departments.
The majority are young girls, from international backgrounds and their enthusiasm is wonderful. They are very genuine, and everything they do comes from the heart. Considering this is a relatively new opening, the service is almost seem-less. The staff make the resort.
The concept is lovely and perfect for honeymoon couples or couples wanting to spend quality time together.
On arrival, you are greeted by a saxophonist, and the gentlemen are handed a rose to give to their lady.
